Experts say smartphones can help prevent drunk driving, diagnose a leaky window, measure your muscles, diagnose your car’s check engine light, remind you to drink water, do math problems, or even improve your basketball skills. The smartphone is an amazing gadget in the hands of some people. In the book of Acts CH. 3, we find that the hands of the Apostle Peter became healing hands through the power of Jesus name. Peter and John were on their way to the Temple at the hour of prayer. They saw a crippled man who asked them for alms. Having no money to give him, Peter said to the man, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I will give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!” Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. The power in Jesus’ name enabled Peter to heal to the crippled man. Few of us have the gift of miraculous healing. Yet all of us can submit our lives to God so He can use us for His highest purposes here on earth.
