According to one study, a company can lose up to 40% of its marketing investment when it fails to deliver on its promises. Years ago, God promised to bless the world through Abraham. God confirmed the promise to his son, Isaac. God said to Isaac (Genesis Chapter 26), “I hereby confirm that I will cause your descendants to become as numerous as the stars of the sky, and I will give them all these lands. And through your descendants, all the families of the earth will be blessed. I will do this because Abraham listened to me and obeyed all my requirements, commands, decrees, and instructions.” God made this great promise; then 2,000 years later, God entered the world through Abraham’s offspring—Jesus the Christ. Jesus confirmed His identity as God’s Son by the unique truths He taught, and by working miracles that only God could do. He then died for the sins of all humanity. Before He died, He promised that by shedding His blood, He was establishing God’s New Covenant with the human race. Under this new agreement, God forgives all who, by faith, accept Jesus Christ into their hearts. When we accept His Son as our Savior, God unites us with His Son and promises us that we will enjoy eternal life—life that lasts as long as God lives. Can you conceive of a better promise by a better Promise Keeper than God is?
