Here are some tips to smooth rough places in life. Make three people smile every day. Sit in silence at least 10 minutes each day. Dream more while awake. Spend time with people over 70 and under 6. Don’t waste time on gossip. Get 8 hours of sleep every day. Smile and laugh more. Drink plenty of water. Read good books. Keep in touch with your family and friends. Exercise daily. Get up, dress up, and show up. Now, here are some biblical guidelines from Romans CH 12. “Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.” “Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.” Tips from observation are helpful, but God’s word has no equal.
