Reliable information nowadays is often hard to find, since the internet allows people to post true and false material. Readers are urged to check and recheck what they see on the internet, and realize hackers can now manipulate facts mislead you. When God announced the birth of His Son, He did it in a way that should leave no doubt about its accuracy– except by those who reject God. God sent an angel from heaven to deliver the critical message of the impending birth of His Son into the world. Gabriel came is a heavenly visitor to tell a young woman living in Nazareth that God had chosen her to give birth to His Son. Here is a portion of the angel’s message found in Luke CH 1, “You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!” The angel’s message proved true. Jesus was born, grew up, went about teaching and healing, then died to pay our sin debt. He is alive today as God’s Supreme Ruler. He invites us, His followers to live, love, and serve others just as He did.
