Successful business owners know that to flourish they must always tell the truth, be transparent, do what you say you will do, listen to your people, and always seek to satisfy your customers. This code of conduct gives the company a reputation for integrity and reliability. In writing to the believers in the Ephesian church, the Apostle Paul explained how God had elaborate plans for people who trust Jesus Christ to be their Savior and Lord. He then told them how they should respond to such lavish gifts of God’s grace. He stressed the need for us to treat others with love, acceptance, and forgiveness. He wrote this in Ephesians chapter 4, “Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us.” Today we honor Christ when we show love and respect to people everywhere.
