Even if some people don’t believe climate change is real, their lack of faith does not alter the fact that it’s changing. The same can be said about certain teachings in the Bible. Just because some do not believe what the Bible teaches does not change what it claims. The Bible reveals that to fulfill God’s purpose, Jesus makes three appearances: We read in Hebrews Ch. 9, “Just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.” Hebrews teaches that when Christ first appeared on earth, he offered the sacrifice that atones for our sin—a sacrifice sufficient to last forever. The book explains that Christ is now appearing in heaven as our great High Priest. He intercedes on our behalf before God when we pray or approach God in any way. Then we read He will appear a second time on earth. When he comes He will give new bodies to all who have accepted him by faith. When he comes, He will rule on earth until all the kingdoms of the world become subject to Him. You can believe it or not!
