An online company allows sellers to showcase their one-of-a-kind creations. These unique products appeal to people who grow weary of sameness; they prefer items no one else has. Many religious beliefs exist in our world today, but Christianity claims to be one-of-a-kind. It describes what God has done for us rather than what we can do hoping to gain His favor. Our Lord spoke of that uniqueness in words recorded in John chapter 5: “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life. And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live. The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son. And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man.” Jesus Christ claimed to be the unique Son of God, claimed to be the only person who can atone for our sins, the only source of eternal life; He claimed to be the only person God approved to rule and decide the fate of all who live on earth. We are certainly free to accept whom we please, yet we ought not to ignore the unique claims by Jesus Christ.
If we are taught to be independent thinkers, that is study the facts and draw our own conclusion. But, we should not come to any conclusion about life until we examine, study and witness to the works of the “Wonderful Counselor”, the Mighty God, ‘The Everlasting Father”, ” The Prince of Peace”. (Isaiah 9:6)
