Long before Jesus Christ came to earth to live as a man, God spoke by the prophet Isaiah (Chapter 42) to say this: “Look at my servant, whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one, who pleases me. I have put my Spirit upon him. He will bring justice to the nations” “He will not falter or lose heart until justice prevails throughout the earth.” We then read in Matthew Chapter 3 that at the baptism of Jesus, the Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove to anoint Jesus. Then the Father spoke from heaven to say, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” In other words, Jesus Christ is the Servant Leader God appointed to bring justice to the earth. All who acknowledge and surrender to Him receive forgiveness of their sins and the gift of eternal life. They enjoy His presence daily. They share the Good News of His love and forgiveness. They participate in his Kingdom agenda of promoting justice and righteousness in the world today. They do all this in anticipation of our Lord’s return when He will establish justice throughout the whole earth.
