Experts offer these tips for making good decisions: Identify the outcome you want; gather as many facts as you can; brainstorm options and choose the ones that match your values, interests, and abilities; weigh the outcome of each; get feedback from people you trust; then make your decision and monitor the results. Ask God to guide you and help you make a wise decision. While some ancient kings of Israel made good decisions, others were foolish and led people to disastrous outcomes. The last four kings of Judah—Jehoahaz, Jehoiakim, Jehoaichin, and Zedekiah—rejected advice from God’s prophets. These foolish kings made alliances with unreliable foreign nations. In rejecting God’s counsel from the prophets, they caused the nation to decline and 10,000 people went away into exile. A wise proverb says decisions determine destiny; so we should weigh our decisions carefully. We should rely on God who said in Psalm 32:8—“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will guide you with my eye on you”—if you are not stubborn like a horse or mule.

Thank you for your wise advice, we will always do better in life when we listen to the council of God. It is sad to see how many people around us take the route of the last kings of Judah, and reject His council and help, and instead seek the counsel of the world, which can not lead to lasting faith or prosperity. I wanted to leave you with a link for an article I read about including God in our decision making, and how He can help us make decisions here, and how happy we can be because of it, here is the link. https://goo.gl/rZ7XQY
