When the printing press was invented in 1440, it revolutionized the way content could be distributed. In our day, social media has rapidly expanded the way content is distributed. Transmitting messages is now instantaneous with just a click. From a biblical perspective, the most important message to be transmitted is how a person can have a favorable relationship with God who created us and who holds our destiny. The Bible in many places explains how this can be done. One place is the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Romans. He details how all humanity stands guilty before God because we have all broken God’s moral law. But God has provided a remedy by sending His only Son to pay our sin debt with His death on the cross. In Romans chapter 10, Paul explains how we can be forgiven of our sins and become right with God. He writes: “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.” That is a message worth transmitting to the whole world.
