One journalist, looking for reliable publications to counter so-called fake news, came up with a list of sources he regards as trustworthy. They include: The New York Times,” The Wall Street Journal,” The Washington Post,” BBC, The Economist, The New Yorker, wire services, The Atlantic and Politico. Of course, these are primary sources of political news. But God’s people need a reliable source of divine news-truth from our Creator about issues and realities that transcend what may happen here on earth. While Moses was alive, God promised through him to send us a reliable spokesperson, a prophet, who would give us truth that has eternal significance. When Jesus Christ arrived on earth, He declared He had come from heaven to deliver truth from His Father. He said, “I am the way, the truth, the life-no one comes to the Father except through me. He died and rose again to confirm His identity as God’s Son. Jesus Christ is an unimpeachable source of truth, worthy of our complete acceptance.
